Before I started driving it I replaced all the front spring bushings, ball joints, axle u-joints were good, new rotors and pads. Needs tires and probably alignment, too. Now, after about 1.5 months of driving, when I hit the brakes the thing shakes really bad.

Mar 28, 2001 · GM had a horrible time with a part called a dump valve. GM truck owners from 1988 on know what im talking about. Your truck has this part, on the drivers side frame rail, in line with the brakeline with wires coming out of it. A little valve inside can stick, allowing the fluid to flow where it shouldnt, making it feel spongy, and sinking.
